Dignitana is a Swedish public company based in the innovation cluster of Lund in the Öresund region. The company focuses on a patented invention DigniCap™, a medical device for preventing hair loss in chemotherapy patients through controlled and reliable cooling of the scalp. DigniCap has been developed in close cooperation with the engineering team and several clinicians at leading university hospitals in Sweden.

The Business idea of Dignitana is to develop, manufacture and market state of the art patented medical devices within hypothermia, primarily scalp cooling systems for chemotherapy patients to prevent hair loss, the most critical side-effect of chemotherapy.

The Mission of Dignitana is to become market leader and the de-facto standard by becoming a major contributor in the establishment of scalp cooling for chemotherapy patients as a world wide standard for significantly reducing or even eliminating chemotherapy induced alopecia.

The Vision is to expand the technology of DigniCap into other hypothermia areas such as within neurology.
