Treatment time, or possible discomfort, presents no obstacle. “For our patients, in a difficult situation in their lives, it is wonderful to be able to look as usual despite their illness.”

 Mats Jerkeman, oncologist at the Lund University Hospital:
“It ought to be a self-evident goal to be able to offer this possibility to all patients.
“The apparatus is uncomplicated and a one-time investment. Treatment can be given in all cases of cytostatic treatment where there is little risk of circulating tumor cells.
“In many cases, cytostatic treatment is employed as a palliative, for example in breast and ovarian cancer. There we find an obvious improvement in the quality of life when a patient does not have to lose her hair.”
